Review

I don't want to give too much away about the characters and the plot, Even Stephen King has been raving about this book as it is full of mystery and gripping.

Catriona Ward has beautifully written this gothic thriller that has so many twist and turns that keeps you guessing.

It is written from 3 different view points. 1) Ted, who learn more about his upbringing and him living in a boarded house with his daughter Lauren and Cat Olivia. The more you learn about Ted the more it resonates how he is  today.  2)Dee who is on a mission to find out who abducted her little sister and  moves in next to Ted and 3) believe it or not is the wise cat Olivia and how some interesting points to make.

I found the book enticing and the further I delved into the book, the more I learnt about the complex characters and I just couldn't put it down.
