Although this was a short read it was full of lots of curve balls!! I managed to read it all in one sitting. 

It started off with meeting the Matchmarker from the get go who is Marcia Bailey and one day she received a phone call from someone  initially demanding a perfect date to then money but you release this isn't just about money. The caller is persistent  and she has an idea of who it is and this then transcends to the reader finding out more about Marcia past life and how she is now has the perfect life. 

The story delves in to 19 year old Marcia life and the decisions she has made. We meet lots of characters and their storylines of how they met her.  In the midst of all this a murder takes places, and it wasn't who I was expecting it to be. Therefore we have detectives in the story line who also add to the storyline. 

Initially I was a bit disappointed as I thought all was revealed too quick however the more I kept reading and the more story developed I soon changed my mind. There were a few curve balls and plenty of twist and turns to make me question certain characters.  

I still would have preferred a bit more mystery and who could it be a bit later in the book but  overall a good read and well written and I liked the short chapters.
