Review:

Soon as I read the synopsis I had a feeling that I had to read and review this book. I just knew it was meant for me and I wasn't left disappointed. I think I was drawn to the friendship of Anna and Grace, as I have similar one with a work colleague but a 30 years difference and it is my most treasured friendship. The way Anna interacted with Grace and took on board her wisdom and experience really resonated with me.

We meet Anna who is 30, works as a carer and Grace is now her new client.  As they bond and their friendship blossom, Grace really wants to help Anna in her new chapter of her life after her husband has cheated on her and she is divorced. We get to find out more about Grace as she retells her memory of being left at the alter. As the two support each other, we meet Tom who is Grace Great-Nephew , I felt Tom was threatened by Anna and didn't like her. This sets Grace into action to get the pair to like each other.  As Anna and Grace set off on an adventure it really was a roadtrip and I felt like I was out with them.

It's not very often I read a 5 star story but this really does deserve it and I can see it being adapted into a drama series or a movie as it would be wonderful. there was some perceptive change from Anne to Grace but it  was mainly from Anne's viewpoint and I actually enjoyed that as it really drew out dome elements. It touched on the agility of relationships, the wisdom of time and experience and the gain of a beautiful friendship and I just loved it.
This is my first book from the author and Before You Go will be my next read I think, although reading the synopsis, I'll need some tissues with it!!
