This book definitely set me up for spooky season.  This was a page turner, not rushed but really explored a few different themes on emotions, relationships and managing grief and life pressures. 

Christina a character that will frustrate you at the best of times, but it's just in real life to say why not just walk away? She becomes embroiled with lust/love and overwhelmed herself on managing these situations. I really liked how the book did concentrate on Christina emotions and feelings and she has to deal or manage them considering her job is a therapist. It adds a layer of realness. But you are on her side even when she gets herself into some sticky situations. 

I also liked how the author injected there own work experience in the book such as the monthly supervisions the therapist have, therapy sessions structure  and the attention to detail. 

The ending is just really good. I really liked how it wasn't a log read but definitely kept me on my toes.
