My Thoughts

I love how this is a short insight to all these amazing women. It sets you off then to explore and read more and I really enjoyed it.

"Now the time has come to tell their stories and celebrate these women, who often went uncelebrated, but fought, created, and adventured nonetheless, to lead us where we are today."

There are & chapters with unique names and each chapter it content is categorised such as; athletics, creativity and leadership roles to name a few. What I was amazed at the most was that there was also a bibliography at the end of the book and reading through the list the sources were reputable such as journal articles. So It gave a good sense that this was a well researched book.

So diverse with so many different backgrounds and timelines I enjoyed it. You do get very short snippets/micro essay apart each women, which I had a feeling would happen as there are 70 women in this book. But I have learnt so much and leant about a few different women that I have not heard about before.
