Sometimes you have to go back, to move forwards.
My Thoughts
This was an adorable and fun book to read. I used to watch Louise youtube channel so to now be a part of the blog tour is an amazing experience.
I loved Tabby's character and the journey she goes through. She lives an almost monotonous life although enough to get her by but she is 26 and needs more adventure. But she works in a vintage shop, lived in the same town her whole life, same friend, and lives with her boyfriend David. Tabby never pushed boundaries or even dare to stand up for her self, especially when it came to her relationship with David and she accepts as they've fallen into this pattern as they start to consider their future longterm.
So when Bea enters her life and changes timelines Tabby starts to become more of her authentic self. I adored this new friendship and exploration. I didn't know how I would receive the time travelling element of the book but it was woven in really well and I particularly liked that Tabby could control it as it gave her more control on her life.
I really loved how Tabby pushed the boundaries more during her time with Bea and maybe because at first she felt she could do so without much repercussion but then learnt a huge life lesson of living and experiencing life and enjoyment for yourself rather than for the sake of others.
I really liked the self-discovery and pushing yourself out your comfort zone elements to the book. I liked the way the author added elements of there personal life in such as the name of the vintage shop. But the ending chapters flowed well to show how both the timelines actually are linked. A wonderful read
