My Thoughts

My first read from the author and it was really good psychological thriller. 

One things I didn't expect but actually enjoyed was the narrative being told from a few different people. Amy, the DR and Jenny were the main voices telling the story. 

DR Cavendish is the person who runs the clinic and you soon realise she isn't a healing doctor more has some sinister traits. She hand selects the women who enter the clinic, but we soon realise there is a bigger motive behind this. 

Each women is not only suffering from the stigma of appearance but we learn more about them and their past and present life. This provides an insight some of their insecurities they have today. The women are put on a brutal programme and the lengths they would go to, to achieve this ideology of perfection. But every now and again some of the women lapse which causes carnage within the clinic. 

Jenny has been to the building before it got converted into the clinic. She harbours a-lot but is on the mission to uncover the truth which turns ghastly as the story progresses. 

There were a few twists and turns that kept the reading to stay suspenseful. 

A clever but dark book that is well put together!
