My Thoughts
I knew I had to read this book after reading the blurb. And just how wonderful is the cover! Perfect!
We meet and read POV from strong, intelligent female leads. The stories were much more there, innovative in their own right and highlighted female empowerment and courage.
I liked that we got to know the characters, there resilience and challenges during these times shone through.
This became an educational read as well which I always find amazing. I like a read that makes you want to learn more and start to inquire more into the history. The author did an amazing job of keeping the reading engaged with science/ maths/ engineering without it being too overstimulating and keeping it relevant and accessible.
As much as there are 9 different stories, each one was unique to its own story telling. I tired to pick a favourite and could not as it was too hard to do.
This book will remain on my bookshelf always.
