Will Benjamin find a way back to his rightful place, or will he choose to forge a new path with Isabella?

My Thoughts

A light hearted, cute, romance book which I thoroughly enjoyed.

The plot weaves in and out from the past to the present and world collide in rationalising what is real and what is left to the imagination of what could be. This is easy to follow and intertwines really well into the plot.

The story has themes of love, loss, grief, connection, rights and responsibilities.

All the characters were relevant and unique to the story. The duke although ad to abide by his royal duties and task, underneath showed his softer and more curious and confused side. As he steps in the present (or future for him), he tries to navigate this new and interesting world as he takes baby steps trying to figure out what to do next.

Isabella's character is is going though a tough time with work and her past relationships. But it was nice to see how she tries to navigate this new chapter with Benjamin. They develop over time this deep connection as small gestures to get Benjamin to adapt to the present beings them closer together,

I liked how the author you understand the connection between both Benjamin and Isabella and you go to know them over time. I could not read to the end fast enough as I wanted to know could they make this possible and work?

I would recommend this book!
