The lives of prime-time friends Leonora, Selena and Dorothea are about to take a very interesting turn.

Leonora discovers her husband is having an affair and struggles to come to terms with this crushing blow. Selena is about to meet the love of her life but is utterly unprepared for the heartbreak it might bring. Finally, Dorothea’s beloved career is under threat, but her job is the only way she can make sense of herself and she can't see a future without it.

Can the three friends support each other through life’s challenges, and is there the slightest chance of a happy outcome for any of them?

My Thoughts

I really enjoyed a female led protagonist plot. We meet Lenora, Selena and Dorothea each with unique personalities and dynamic lives. They met during early adulthood and continued to grown their friendships over the years making sure they made time for each other. 

We really got to know each character well and they each brought forward a different prescriptive to how they managed different challenges they faced and how they showed up as a friend and someone who needed there friend. 

Interestingly they are all childless but are in different points with relationships in their lives. Lenora and Dorothea are sister - in - laws. When infidelity separates the family it puts more pressure on how to navigate this point. Selena starts a new relationship which brings more neves and excitement to this new chapter in her life. 

It was really engaging and emotional to read. I would recommend.
