My Thoughts 

My first read from the author and it did not disappoint. 

Soon as you start reading the plots tension starts straightaway and you are instantly swept in. 

When Joseph tells his dad Max that he accidentally killed someone, Max helps cover the body and crime up. You really start to question from the get go why would Max do that and it raises so much debate. So when it happens again what is Max going to do? Forgive his for a second murder?

There is so much tension and drama within this book! There are lots of different characters which made sense to the plot and were well developed and you got to know them and not fully understand there reasoning until the plot deepens. 

Joseph's motives were so questionable and at times frustrating and you wanted to just give him a shake! 

Plenty of twists and turns keeps you invested in the plot. I would recommend but I am also second guessing if the author has a book 2 in mind!.
