My Thoughts

This was a real edge-of-your-seat read from beginning to end. It immediately pulled me into the story, and I found myself constantly wanting to read just one more chapter. The pacing was excellent, with enough suspense and intrigue to keep me hooked throughout.

What stood out to me the most was how thought-provoking the plot was. Beyond the mystery and suspense, the story explores some important themes about finding your voice, standing up for yourself, and not allowing your emotions to stay buried. It encourages you to reflect on the importance of speaking out, even when it's difficult, and shows how keeping everything inside can have lasting consequences. I really appreciated that the book had a meaningful message woven naturally into the story rather than feeling forced.

Our main character, Viv, was someone I enjoyed following. She works for a company, and after experiencing a tragic event, she makes the decision that she can no longer stay silent. Instead of simply accepting what has happened, she chooses to take action and make her voice heard. As the story progresses, so does Viv's character. It was rewarding to watch her grow stronger and more determined with every chapter. I also liked that she wasn't written as the typical timid or overly shy protagonist. She was resilient, capable, and willing to challenge those around her, which made her feel refreshing and believable.

Another aspect I really enjoyed was the structure of the book. The chapters were short and perfectly paced, making it incredibly easy to keep reading. Each chapter revealed just enough information to leave me wanting more, keeping the tension high and making it difficult to put the book down.

One of the most unique and clever features of the novel was the inclusion of the Carrier's perspective at the end of each chapter. These sections added another layer to the storytelling, providing extra insight and building even more anticipation for what was coming next. It was a creative touch that made the reading experience feel different from other thrillers I've read and added to the overall atmosphere of the book.

Overall, this was an engaging, suspenseful, and emotionally impactful read. It combines a gripping storyline with meaningful themes about courage, resilience, and the importance of speaking up. If you enjoy fast-paced thrillers with well-developed characters and clever storytelling, this is definitely one I would recommend.
