It was supposed to be a summer of fun.

This is book 2 in the series, So I was originally a bit worried that I would miss information but  this reads well as a stand alone book. Friendships, loyalty, frenemies  are all put to the test. 

Jasmine and Olivia have been childhood friends and have done everything together. That is until one day glamorous Ellie and her family into town. Ellie and Jasmine form a friendship but that leaves Olivia excluded.  Jealously fills the room as Olivia and Ellie have hatred for each other and are vying for Jasmine attention. Friendships are put to the test and this is because Jasmine awakes and the day restarts exactly the same e and this is a loop. How will this impact on the decisions that are made? How will it affect this disgruntled triangle friendship or lack of. 

I've not read a book that is written this way but I thoroughly enjoyed it, as it was very cleverly written. I was worried that it would be a cliché but the author amazingly went past this and brought to life the real insecurities girls feel, the harshness of perceptions of themselves and other and the scrutiny of appearances whilst growing up. 

I'm going to dive into other books the author has written especially the ones in this series.
