Blurb

They say the devil’s in the details… And I say, I most certainly am.

After a near miss with a serial killer on a night out with her best friend Holly, Fae Wright found herself with a starring role in Holly’s subsequent bestselling memoir.

Now Fae has been unexpectedly hired by the Metropolitan Police to help solve the unsolvable. A string of murders across England are linked but what is the common thread?

With bodies piling up and constantly more questions than answers, Fae strives to connect the dots. Holly wrote all about Fae’s psychic instincts, so maybe she really does have the best chance of catching the killer.

But someone is watching Fae very closely, and there may be more to this than Fae could ever have imagined…

My Thoughts

Wowzers, if you want a fast paced book that will keep you on your toes then this is book is for you!!! Therefore no hints as to where this is going to go as I don't want spoil it for you!

The story is explored and told from several different view points and the main one I liked was the killers...now hear me out, this is because you don't read many books told from the view point of the killer and this is what made it more interesting and added a few turns in the story. I think sometimes different view points can become overwhelming or you start to loose the thread of it and some points I did have to double check but I think as the writing was well developed I didn't become too lost so it was good.

I liked the dynamic between Fae and Holly and was invested in how their friendship would endure the trials and tribulations of events that start to unfold. And I questioned would there be any rivalry,  jealously or potential jeopardy to this friendship?

I really liked that it had lots of twists and when I thought I had it figured out I was so wrong.
I cannot wait to see what else the author has instore for the second novel!
