How To Kill Your BestFriend- Blog Tour
Georgie, Lissa and Bronwyn have been best friends since they met on their college swimming team. Now Lissa is dead - drowned off the coast of the remote island where her second husband owns a luxury resort. But could a star open-water swimmer really have drowned? Or is something more sinister going on?
Brought together for Lissa's memorial, Georgie, Bron, Lissa's grieving husband and their friends find themselves questioning the circumstances around Lissa's death - and each other. As the weather turns ominous, trapping the guests on the island, it slowly dawns on them that Lissa's death was only the beginning. Nobody knows who they can trust. Or if they'll make it off the island alive....
My Thoughts
A thrilling read!
We travel through the story from the POV's from Georgie and Bronwyn (Bron) in alternating chapters. We also get to hear from an unknown POV who talks about methods of killing your best friend. The tension in this book is so significant. The character development was so well done.
Although it isn't super fast paced, I liked that about this book because it gave great opportunity for the plot to thicken, Lots of twist, turns and red herrings that you start to question most the characters actions. So many layers and it was instead complex but intriguing.
The Cove has a lot to answer for and the sinister ongoings make you contemplate who is really behind all this. Are friends who they say or seem they are and what is to gain from all this. You start to question the friendship as we start to learn about affairs and secrets within the group. When old messaged resurface and one is attacked the pace starts to pick up.
A brilliant read and I would recommend you get a copy!
