The perfect vacation or the perfect murder...

It's Christmastime and thirty-two-year-old Alicia Silver is completely in love with her new husband Jack. They're going to spend the Christmas vacation with her in-laws in their remote lodge in the Irish mountains.

The Silver family are wealthy and beautiful, they seem to live a charmed existence and Alicia only hopes she can live up to their high expectations for her marriage to Jack.

The Christmas celebrations are in full swing but Alicia quickly discovers that, behind their perfect image, the Silver family have plenty of secrets. But who would kill to protect theirs?

The step-mother
The sister-in-law
The husband
The father-in-law
The new wife

Before the vacation is over at least one of them will be dead. Who will survive?

My Thoughts

This is the most perfect winter , page turning read!

There is so much to unpack in this book. Not only are you trying to figure out who the body is and who is responsible. But you end up deep diving into the characters lives and they come with so many secrets and motives that adds even more tension and suspense to the plot. As you start to learn more about individual members of the family the story starts to come together.

The chapters were fairly consistent and not too long or short which provides I feel a good section of information before you move on.  You get to read lots of twists and turns, as soon as you start to formulate your ideas and start to tease out the information, something suspenseful throws you off.

We get to meet different members of the Silver family such as; Alice, Jack, Ronan, Dawn and Patrick to name a few. As they all head to a secluded lodge to spend Christmas together you already know there is going to be trouble ahead.

The ending I am really hoping will be another book, as you are left with a cliffhanger and wanting to know what happens to some of the characters as it feels incomplete.

Overall a fab atmospherical and tense book from start to finish
