And as she draws closer to the horrifying truth, she finds herself trapped in a nightmare beyond her wildest imaginings.

My Thoughts

This was one brilliant psychological thriller that was a real page turner and kept me guessing until the end. 

As Mary is feeling positive that to help Brent has been working on managing his depression, however on his return she has a feeling this isn't her Brent. You start to think about what has happened to Brent to make be the opposite of who he was. 

There were plenty of twists throughout the plot. Although a fair few time jumps but they helped move the plot along and you start to get to grasps with what is happening and adds the thrill to gaining some momentum. 

Mary is a likeable character but she is incredibly slow and you want to give her a nudge at times. We meet other characters such as Paige, Mary's bestfriend and Brent's parents and Katya and Dorian play a role. The plot thickens and a-lot of things come to light and situations such as kidnapping and domestic abuse. 

The ending was spectacular and the author did an amazing job to adding this atmospherical ending.
