My Thoughts

We are now on Book 7 of the #TeamTennison Series and it just keeps getting better.

Well, finally 7 books in I can say we start to read how Jane is now being accepted for being a female senior officer and she is being started to be taken more seriously. One way this is acknowledged is that she is now supervising and mentoring other officers which switches her own personal  perceptive but also how she is perceived by the other officers. 

I really enjoyed this book as it delved deeper into the plot line. Such as we learn more about the abuse within the church and those that have covered-up the truth harming people further. We also learn that Dcs Barnes had his own dealings within the church which gets you thinking on how this will impact the case. 

This book also embarked on some chemistry and romance between the characters, Nothing intense but still a bit of chemistry to round off the book. 

I felt this book shifted a bit more away from being the heavy crime book as the previous books and added a touch more mystery and some romance which I actually liked. 

Looking forward to Book 8 !
