My Thoughts 

This was my first read from the author and I really enjoyed it. This is also book 1 of the Daniel Kendrick Series and I am also delighted to be on the tour for book 2- Twisted Obsession. 

This book started off as a slow burn but soon became more intriguing with the cleverly laid out twists. Surprisingly the book had a few subplots which all weaved into the main plot and came together nicely. I think the slow burn was much needed in this book, given the characters and the plot, as it did not become overwhelming and gave a chance for the story to really develop. 

This is very much a character driven book but the author did a fantastic job in really highlighting and developing each character. I seemed to switch how I believed/ preferred in different parts of the book up until the end. 

Daniel is in more parts of the book and we hear less from Faye more so towards the end. The books weaves from past to present events to help put everything together. 

I am eager to read book 2 now!
