The Woman In Ward 9- Review
If you need to pick up a book then this is it!
From the get go from when Laura is covered in blood you are enticed into the read. The past of present scene for Laura were well done and easy to follow. This was needed for the plot and characters to get to find out what has happened and who's blood is on Laura.
Emma the psychologist is also a crucial character as she helps Laura unravel her memories to find out why she was there and who she is actually is. Emma's job is hard and it was interesting to read how she as a professional found her own emotions intertwining. Emma tries her best to separate her knowledge to her own emotions during some chapters which was challenging.
The relationship between the pair shifts to the point of who is leading who, which adds more tension to the book. And who is the real victim in this??
I really enjoyed how descriptive chapters the author delivered as this way the plot becomes more visual and detailed and you are drawn into it.
Plenty of twists and turns that keep you guessing until the end.
An amazing thriller that is well well crafted. I would recommend.
