My Thoughts 

Can we talk about this gorgeous cover? The bright, summery design instantly gives you those warm-weather reading vibes and perfectly captures the light, feel-good atmosphere of the story. It’s the kind of cover that makes you want to grab the book, find a sunny spot and settle in for an afternoon of reading.

Viviane’s journey is at the heart of what makes this story so enjoyable. Rather than forcing her to suddenly become someone she isn’t, the story allows her confidence to build naturally as she begins to take chances and open herself up to the people around her. I also really enjoyed the sense of connection between the characters; their relationships develop in a way that feels warm and believable rather than manufactured.

The book has a wonderful atmosphere too, with plenty of charm and a strong sense of place. Alongside the romance, there’s a quieter story about finding your people, allowing yourself to be vulnerable and discovering that stepping outside your usual routine can sometimes lead to something wonderful. The missing member of the book club also gives the plot a little extra momentum and kept me curious about where everything was heading.

The introvert book club was such a brilliant concept. It takes everything I love about reading with other people and removes the part that would make me want to hide in a corner. You can bring whatever you're reading, find a comfortable spot, and spend time quietly reading alongside other book lovers without being expected to chat or participate. There is something so comforting about sharing a space with people while still being left to enjoy your own little world. I genuinely wish this was a real thing everywhere because I would be there in a heartbeat.

Overall, this was such an uplifting and cosy read. It has books, romance, friendship, a touch of mystery and plenty of feel-good moments, making it a lovely choice when you want something easy, warm and thoroughly escapist.
